How to Take Caverta

Take Caverta with a glass of water about one hour before you expect to engage in sexual activity. You can take Caverta with or without food. Do not take more than one Caverta pill per 24 hour period. If you accidently take more, call your local emergency room or poison control center. Do not share Caverta with anyone.

Tell Your Doctor

Before taking Caverta, or any other erectile dysfunction drug, let your doctor know if:

• you have liver disease
• you have heart disease
• you have kidney disease
• you have had a stroke
• you have eye or vision problems
• you have an allergy to Sildenafil or any other medicinal ingredients

Precautions

If you experience any changes in vision while taking Caverta, call your doctor immediately. If you lose vision in one or both of your eyes, call your doctor and consider visiting the local emergency room.

If you engage in sexual activity after taking Caverta and begin to feel dizzy, nauseous, or have arm or chest pain, stop immediately and contact your doctor.

If you experience a prolonged or painful erection while taking Caverta, visit your local emergency room as soon as possible. If this issue is not treated, it could lead to permanent health damage.

Caverta does not protect you or your partner against the transmission of HIV, AIDS, or any other STD.

Side Effects

Major potential side effects when using Caverta are:

• seizures
• chest pain
• breathing issues
• hearing issues
• vision issues
• increased heart rate
• allergic reactions
• painful or prolonged erections

Minor potential side effects include:

• flushing
• head pain
• digestive issues or indigestion
• runny nose
• diarrhea

It is relatively normal to experience these side effects. If any of these side effects are recurring, though, it is probably a good idea to discus it with your doctor.

Drug Interactions

Do not take Caverta if you already take:

• nitroprusside
• cisapride
• methscopolamine nitrate
• other nitrates
• other Sildenafil products

Caverta might also interact with:

• rifampin
• cimetidine
• erythromycin
• blood pressure drugs
• HIV/AIDS treatment drugs
• Drugs for fungal and yeast infection

Storage

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Keep in a tightly sealed container.
